TIM'S FAQ'S

As owner of Better Lists Inc. I am asked a lot of mailing questions. It is my job is to follow your mailing from start to finish and answer any questions or address any situations if problems arise. Here is some basic information concerning mailings and the new postal rates.

The following is a List of our most frequently asked mailing questions. If you need any clarification or have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us here

What's the biggest size postcard I can have for $0.24 First Class Postage?

The largest size is 4 1/4 x 6 inches. The smallest size would be 3 1/2 x 5 inches. You may have other sizes between these measurements but they must fall within the Post Office's "Aspect Ratio". Anything that falls out of the Aspect Ratio is subject to a Postage penalty. Click here to see our to-scale Postcard Template

If I want to get Automation Postal Discounts, how much room do I need to leave for the address block and bar code?

The address space should be a minimum of 2 inches in height and 4 inches in length, You must leave a minimum of 3 3/4 inches for the bar code.

How long does it take for Standard mail to be delivered?

All Standard mail goes by truck. Nothing goes by air. Our experience is that it lakes 5-8 working days to reach locations close lo the tri-state area (we are located in Connecticut), within 8-10 days for the East Coast, up to 2 weeks for the Mid-West and from 2-3 weeks for the West Coast. Delivery times are faster if your piece has been prepared for Automation Mail.

When doing a mailing with Better Lists Inc. how many extras should I send so you don't run out of my materials?

To avoid extra delays in your job as well as additional set up fees, we ask that you send a minimum of 5-10% of extra materials. This helps to give us ample supply in case of printer shortages or machine damage.
